Gooey, chewy and full of fibre. These delicious, nutritious energy balls will keep you feeling full when you need a little pick-me-up and what’s more,ย  they take 15 mins to make and only require 5 ingredients!!!

Completely dairy, gluten and sugar free. These yummy balls are a firm favourite in my household (so make sure you make a big batch). Perfect for on the go energy, easy to transport and freezer friendly.

Makes 6 Servings.

Ingredients:

1 cup     Pitted Prunes
๐Ÿ”ธ 1/4 cup  Cocoa Powder
๐Ÿ”ธ 1/4 cup  Almond Butter
๐Ÿ”ธ 1 tsp     Cinnamon
๐Ÿ”ธ 3 tbsps  Hemp Seeds

Instructions:
1. Add the prunes, cocoa powder, almond butter, and cinnamon to a food processor and blend until well mixed and sticky.

2. Form into even balls with your hands, roughly one-inch in diameter. Roll each ball in the hemp seeds until evenly coated. Store in the fridge or freezer until ready to enjoy.

Notes:
Leftovers: Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to one week, or freeze if longer.
Serving size: One serving equals approximately two balls.
Nut-free: Use sunflower seed butter, pumpkin seed butter or tahini instead of almond butter.
More flavour: Add vanilla extract and/or your sweetener of choice.
